On World Cancer Day, commemorated annually on 4 February, EU-OSHA is committed to participating in the battle against cancer, which stands as the primary cause of work-related fatalities in the EU.

EU-OSHA’s recent Workers’ exposure survey revealed that UV radiation and diesel engine emissions are the most frequent cancer risk exposures in Europe’s workplaces. The survey contributes to improving preventive measures and to updating evidence-based policies in the EU.
