Back to OSH newsOiRA in figures: More than 60 tools in the pipeline
The OiRA project, EU-OSHA’s Online interactive Risk Assessment tool, is the first EU initiative to encourage micro and small enterprises (MSEs) to assess and manage their own occupational safety and health (OSH) risks using the tailored and multilingual #OiRAtools.
Carrying out proper risk assessments is key for safe and healthy workplaces and although this can be quite challenging, particularly for MSEs, OiRA provides a sound risk assessment process to improve working conditions by using its tools.
Current OiRA figures include 354 online tools available and more than 60 new tools under development in various sectors, with the support of the OiRA community of partners.
Numbers show the success of OiRA with more than 236 800 users registered, and almost 400 000 risk assessments carried out up to date. Both figures keep increasing steadily!
