Occupational safety and health preventive services: the professionals' perspective

This paper presents the perspective of European occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals. It focuses on the current debate regarding the role of prevention services (internal and external) in supporting compliance with health and safety regulations. It also details the current panorama of prevention services. Furthermore, it underlines the need to launch a European-level debate on necessary improvements to harmonise the OSH profession and the work of prevention services.
